Soft padding in the areas around the heel and the arch of the foot protect the foot from pressure sores and chafing. The individually adjustable heel and instep straps make sure the shoes stay in place and provide the perfect fit. The shock absorber in the heel area ensures optimum absorption of impact from walking. The special non-slip GRIP profile sole, made of natural rubber, provides a secure, resistant grip. This seems to be the only shop around that sells Naot sandals. I bought a pair 25 years ago and they're still the most comfortable shoes I ever bought, and today treated myself to a second pair. I find it hard to find comfortable sandals that I like, I adore the ones I bought today and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended.
